North Highland, a global consulting firm with a Portland office, wanted to create a premium printed lookbook that captured the spirit of Oregon’s business community — rugged, creative, and unafraid to forge new paths. The firm works with Portland’s top business leaders to solve critical challenges across diverse industries, and they needed a piece that embodied that same energy: industrious yet sophisticated, bold yet authentic.
I was contracted to design and produce a high-end lookbook that would serve as both a marketing piece and a statement of identity. Drawing inspiration from Oregon’s industrial heritage and creative culture, I designed a tactile, beautifully crafted book featuring debossed, foil-stamped lettering and custom photography throughout. Every page celebrated North Highland’s belief that it’s people—their diverse experiences, curiosity, and drive—that set them apart.
The narrative within the book paid homage to teachers, parents, clients, and loved ones — the individuals who shaped the minds and missions of North Highland’s consultants. Through thoughtful design, refined typography, and elevated production techniques, the final piece became more than a book; it was a tribute to innovation, collaboration, and the human spirit that drives meaningful change.
